Coffee shop 831 serves local organic coffee, breakfast items, and sweets . We are dedicated to local production for local consumption while being committed to sustainability and stewardship of our planet. Because the Earth is part of who we are; we are what we eat, drink, and breathe. As the Earth loves and supports us, we should return this love to the Earth and each other. Let’s keep the Earth beautiful!

About The Owner
Natsuko was born and raised in a sweet potato farm (Musashino Shizen Nojyo) in Saitama, Japan.
Her family has been running the farm since 1750, and she was interested in food and nature’s blessings from her childhood.
In 1998, she worked at Nobu Tokyo in Aoyama, Japan as part of their grand opening staff.
In 2013, she moved to Hawaii to study raw food (at Nihon Living Beauty Association in Honolulu ) and yoga (at Open Space Yoga LLC.)
She started to think about how important it is for us to live with mother nature inspired by surfing, yoga, and the people in Hawaii.
In 2016, she opened Coffee shop 831 in Waikiki.

I love coming here to get my breakfast panini. I always get the "831 Special," it's so delicious!!! ” The reason I like coming here is because it's not too crowded and I like the atmosphere in here. They've got surf videos playing on their TV and the workers are very nice. I've come here a few times for breakfast on the weekends and they never disappoint. Definitely returning!

This place is amazing!! The ambience is so cute. The staff here were so friendly and helpful! I love it here! And I love how eco-friendly they are. Dishes come out on wooden plates and straws are aluminum and re-useable. It made me so happy to come here and check it out and helping to support a local business in Waikiki!
